Heather grew up in Geraldine, a small town in Northeast Alabama where she was raised on a chicken farm with over 50,000 boiler chickens! In 1997 she moved to the Gulf Coast, where she would go on to work in the real estate sector for nearly 20 years – first for an attorney, then bank, then a title company. She joined the SSIA family in May of 2016 as a member of our retail support team as an account coordinator.
When not chasing after her very active young daughter, Riley Bess, or spending time with her husband Tom, Heather is traveling, biking, kayaking – doing anything outside – or cheering on her beloved Alabama Crimson Tide. Heather describes her life as simple, yet extremely meaningful.
