Marketing + Communications Director

Though born in the Midwest, Mindy grew up in the South and since her teens has claimed Alabama as her home. She graduated with a degree in Public Relations and Professional Writing from the University of South Alabama in 2005.
Mindy previously worked in insurance marketing for the country’s second largest wholesaler in Birmingham, but her heart was always on the coast. In 2013 she and her husband “moved on home” to be closer to family, friends, and the beaches they love. She joined SSIA in February 2014 to perform as Marketing & Communications Director. Mindy’s goal is to build the visibility of SSIA across the Gulf Coast and beyond, while living the company commitment – to serve our clients and our community by being an active and positive presence, and by volunteering time and resources.
When she’s not at the office, Mindy stays involved in her community and church and (of course) shopping. She and her husband reside in Fairhope with their beloved dog, George.
